We are kind of off the beaten track, but if you enjoy exploring scenic mountain back-roads, you'll probably like the drive. We are located on the eastern ridge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just downhill from Mt. Mitchell, in McDowell County, Western North Carolina. We are located on Buck Creek, just above Sugar Cove Creek, and a little below Licklog Creek, at Pine Mountain.

If you're not good with directions, pick up a copy of "The Craft Heritage Trails of Western North Carolina" published by Handmade in America, Inc., and follow the 'Circle the Mountain' trail.
